Richmond Park School is set in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen, amidst the stunning countryside of Carmarthenshire, South Wales. We are fortunate to benefit from everything both a rural and urban environment has to offer and we are able to provide our children with a wide variety of experiences within this area. Our central location means that we have easy access to all local amenities, including regular buses. We are only a couple of minutes walk from both the town centre and the River Towy, as well as walking distance from both the train station and Glangwili/West Wales General Hospital.
The school appears hidden from the main road as we are situated in a peaceful location between Richmond Terrace and Priory Street. We are conveniently located next to a large council car park (with direct access to school grounds), which makes it extremely easy for parents to park to pick up and drop off their children. The school has a very large playing field which is conveniently located next to the main Richmond Park Stadium where Carmarthen Town AFC play their home games.
From Cross Hands on the A48:
When you come to the end of the A48 in Carmarthen, take the 3rd exit on the roundabout. Continue ahead and take the first exit on the left of the next roundabout. Take the second exit on the mini roundabout and stay in the right lane. Continue through the traffic lights and travel up the hill past the castle until you arrive at the next mini roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and in approximately 200m, turn left at the signpost to Richmond Park School.
From St Clears on the A40:
When you arrive at the roundabout next to Tesco Extra, take the first exit until you reach a mini roundabout. Now take the second roundabout and continue ahead, taking the 2nd exit on the next mini roundabout also. Stay to the left and turn left at the traffic lights to go up the hill past the castle until you arrive at the next mini roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and in approximately 200m, turn left at the signpost to Richmond Park School.
